To provide the best possible for your pets, we will be working to become Fear Free & AAHA certified.

This is a certification program that “provides veterinary teams and facilities with the tools to help reduce and alleviate fear, anxiety and stress”which helps with the pets’ experience during their office visits. For more information about our endeavor to offer fear free office visits please visit fearfreepets.com

As well, in our desire to offer outstanding patient care we have voluntarily opted to become members of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). This will be in addition to meeting all standards of care of both our provincial and federal governing institutions. Since its establishment in 1933 AAHA remains the only North American association that provides enhanced guidelines and resources to offer standards of excellence to both our pet patients and their parents. And most importantly we will be the ONLY AAHA accredited hospital in Kelowna. For more information on why and how AAHA will benefit pet patients and our clients please feel free to visit aaha.org

Dr. David Seefeldt

Dr. Dave grew up in Calgary, AB. He knew he wanted to be a vet from the age of 12. It
was veterinarian or a professional soccer player. Dave got his Bachelor of Science degree in zoology from the University of Calgary and then went on to veterinary school in Saskatoon, SK. After graduating from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998, he took his first role as veterinarian in Edmonton, AB. After a year in Edmonton, he returned home to Calgary and joined Airdrie Animal Health Centre in Airdrie, eventually going on to buy that practice. Dr. Kim joined the practice as well as 2 more full time veterinarians. They sold the practice in 2017, worked there until 2019 and then decided to move to beautiful British Columbia. After a few years working for various hospitals in Kelowna and West Kelowna, Dr. Dave decided to build and open a brand- new practice in Downtown Kelowna. This was done with the immense help of his wife and co-practice owner, Dr. Kim. They hope to make a positive impact in the lives of pet parents and their pets and strive to give back to the community they serve.

Dr. Kim Crisanti

Dr. Kim has always enjoyed doing puzzles, the more complicated the better. This is why she thinks she was drawn to veterinary medicine. Dr. Kim did not come into private veterinary practice the traditional way. She started her schooling at the University of Calgary and received her bachelor’s degree in Zoology and then completed her masters in cardiovascular and respiratory physiology. She then went to veterinary school at the University of Saskatchewan. She started private practice but after six months she started working for the University of Calgary as a founding member pioneering the clinical skills program for the new veterinary school. During that time, she realized that she enjoyed teaching. Dr Kim brings her joy of teaching into everyday private practice, dealing with clients and explaining the disease mechanisms ailing her patients. Dr. Kim is passionate about geriatric medicine and the diseases that accompany our gorgeous grey-haired patients, including preventive care. Dr Kim strives to make her patients and their parents feel as comfortable as possible, providing the care she would give to her own boys; Sawyer James, Henele and Goose. She’s proud to co-own the practice with her husband, Dr. David Seefeldt, who put the plans in motion for opening City Centre Veterinary Clinic.

Sydney

Sydney’s 15 years of experience in veterinary medicine encompass a wide range of
roles within the clinic and specialty veterinary hospitals. Her passion was sparked
during her time as a surgical assistant for a board-certified surgeon, which laid the
foundation for her career. Sydney takes great pride in helping anxious or reactive pets
feel more comfortable in the clinic, ensuring both pet and client have a great
experience. Outside of work she is committed to wildlife conservation, where she has
started a local wildlife charity focusing on bridging the gap of local resources and
educating the public on wildlife conflicts and concerns.

Alex

Alex grew up in Nelson, BC and moved to Kelowna five years ago, where she completed her training as a Certified Veterinary Assistant. She truly enjoys getting to know clients and their pets and values the trust that comes with those relationships. Outside of work, Alex spends her time unwinding with her two cats, Bug and Beetle, who add so much warmth and joy to her home.

Jay G

Jay is a Veterinary Assistant from Seattle, Washington with 4 years of Clinic experience, and 5 years experience working with animal rescues.

When he’s not working he enjoys TTRPGs like D&D, reading, and video games. He also loves to snuggle and play with his two cats, Sable and Guppy.

Eve

Eve is originally from England and moved to Kelowna to continue her career in the veterinary field whilst exploring the mountains – especially snowboarding during winter. She has a passion for animal behaviour and in-hospital patient care, ensuring every animal feels calm and safe during their visit.

She misses her dog and two cats back home, but her Canadian companion — a tiny hamster named Timbit — keeps her company on her new adventure.

Tracy

Tracy is one of our Client Care Specialists and comes to us with 5 years in the veterinary industry. Tracy’s love of animals and people is the reason she sought out a position in the industry after many years in Sales and Marketing.

She originates from North Vancouver, but has spent the last 20+ years in the beautiful Okanagan. Her family has rescued several cats and dogs over the years and their latest rescues are two beautiful 3 year old female cats, Socks and Snoop, who joined their household in 2022.

Tracy is a nature lover and can be found enjoying a variety of activities in the great outdoors. She is a fitness enthusiast, travel buff, avid reader and also a certified Reiki practitioner.

She is passionate about animals and the care they receive, and strives to ensure that every client and pet visiting City Centre Veterinary Clinic has the best experience possible.

Sammie

Sammie is a part-time member of the clinic team while pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree. She will graduate in spring 2026 and plans to apply to veterinary school shortly after. Working at the clinic has given Sammie valuable hands-on experience and confirmed her passion for caring for animals. She enjoys supporting the team, assisting with patient care, and helping clients feel informed and comfortable. She enjoys learning from the experienced staff around her and gaining practical skills that complement her academic studies. Sammie is grateful for the opportunity to grow in a field she loves and looks forward to continuing her journey toward veterinary medicine.

Meghan

Born and raised in Kelowna, Meghan is a proud hockey mom, dog mom, and deeply committed member of the local animal-care community. Outside of work, she stays busy with her husband and two kids, the rink schedule, and her ongoing volunteer work with dog rescue—something she’s truly passionate about.

Meghan brings her love for animals, community spirit, and down-to-earth warmth to the clinic every day, helping create a welcoming, supportive experience for both pets and their people.
