To provide the best possible for your pets, we will be working to become Fear Free & AAHA certified.

This is a certification program that “provides veterinary teams and facilities with the tools to help reduce and alleviate fear, anxiety and stress”which helps with the pets’ experience during their office visits. For more information about our endeavor to offer fear free office visits please visit fearfreepets.com

As well, in our desire to offer outstanding patient care we have voluntarily opted to become members of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). This will be in addition to meeting all standards of care of both our provincial and federal governing institutions. Since its establishment in 1933 AAHA remains the only North American association that provides enhanced guidelines and resources to offer standards of excellence to both our pet patients and their parents. And most importantly we will be the ONLY AAHA accredited hospital in Kelowna. For more information on why and how AAHA will benefit pet patients and our clients please feel free to visit aaha.org

Dr. David Seefeldt

Dr. Dave grew up in Calgary, AB. He knew he wanted to be a vet from the age of 12. It
was veterinarian or a professional soccer player. Dave got his bachelor's degree in zoology from the University of Calgary and then went on to veterinary school in
Saskatoon, SK. After graduating from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in
1998, he took his first role as veterinarian in Edmonton, AB. After a year in Edmonton, he returned home to Calgary and joined Airdrie Animal Health Centre in Airdrie, eventually going on to buy that practice. Dr. Kim joined the practice as well as 2 more full time veterinarians. They sold the practice in 2017, worked there until 2019 and then decided to move to beautiful British Columbia. After a few years working for various hospitals in Kelowna and West Kelowna, Dr. Dave decided to build and open a brand- new practice in Downtown Kelowna. This was done with the immense help of his wife and co-practice owner, Dr. Kim. They hope to make a positive impact in the lives of pet parents and their pets and strive to give back to the community they serve.

Dr. Kim Crisanti

Dr. Kim has always enjoyed doing puzzles, the more complicated the better. This is why she thinks she was drawn to veterinary medicine. Dr. Kim did not come into private veterinary practice the traditional way. She started her schooling at the University of Calgary and received her bachelor's degree in Zoology and then completed her masters in cardiovascular and respiratory physiology. She then went to veterinary school at the University of Saskatchewan. She started private practice but after six months she started working for the University of Calgary as a founding member pioneering the clinical skills program for the new veterinary school. During that time, she realized that she enjoyed teaching. Dr Kim brings her joy of teaching into everyday private practice, dealing with clients and explaining the disease mechanisms ailing her patients. Dr. Kim is passionate about geriatric medicine and the diseases that accompany our gorgeous grey-haired patients, including preventive care. Dr Kim strives to make her patients and their parents feel as comfortable as possible, providing the care she would give to her own boys; Sawyer James, Henele and Goose. She’s proud to co-own the practice with her husband, Dr. David Seefeldt, who put the plans in motion for opening City Centre Veterinary Clinic.

Jay

Jay is an experienced veterinary professional and Fear Free certified with a career
spanning over 15 years. Since 2005 Jay has worked at hospitals across California and
Washington state, including mobile clinics, and has been deeply involved in volunteer work at local shelters and charity work with Sam Simon Foundation, which offers free surgeries for low-income neighborhoods throughout Los Angeles. With a passion for animal care, Jay has built a reputation for providing compassionate and skilled veterinary services. Outside of work, Jay lives in Kelowna with his wife, their 3-year-old Corgi, Boba, and is eagerly anticipating the arrival of their first child in 2025. When not working, Jay enjoys spending time outdoors, particularly camping and exploring the natural beauty of their surroundings. Having lived in Kelowna for over two years, Jay and his family appreciate the balance of work and outdoor adventure that their current home offers.

Jennifer Krezan

A lifelong animal lover, Jennifer has enjoyed working with large and small animals in her previous work in rehabilitation, dental, and surgical lasers. Her smallest patient to date was a gecko while her largest was an elephant! She discovered City Centre Veterinary Clinic while searching for the perfect mentors to complete her externship. Her 2025 goals include completing her associate of applied science degree, passing the Veterinary Technician National Exam, and becoming a credentialed Veterinary
Technologist. She has a particular interest in anesthesia, surgery, and dentistry. In her spare time away from work and studying, Jennifer can be found spoiling her
tortoiseshell kitty named Duchess, loving the Kelowna sunshine on her pink cruiser
bike, gardening and beekeeping.

Sydney

Sydney’s 15 years of experience in veterinary medicine encompass a wide range of
roles within the clinic and specialty veterinary hospitals. Her passion was sparked
during her time as a surgical assistant for a board-certified surgeon, which laid the
foundation for her career. Sydney takes great pride in helping anxious or reactive pets
feel more comfortable in the clinic, ensuring both pet and client have a great
experience. Outside of work she is committed to wildlife conservation, where she has
started a local wildlife charity focusing on bridging the gap of local resources and
educating the public on wildlife conflicts and concerns.

Jen

Meet Jen, our customer service representative. Having made a career shift in 2020 to
pursue her love for animals, Jen has been working in the Veterinary field for 5+ years
and volunteering even longer. She has a passion for animal care, ensuring every single
paw that steps into the clinic receives the utmost attention and support, along with their humans too. From reception to assisting in the lab to support in the surgical suite, Jen has a well-rounded approach to animal care. When she’s not at the clinic you will find her hiking in the Okanagan with her 8 yr old dog or painting on a fresh canvas.

Sarah

Sarah is an aspiring Veterinary Technician. Growing up outside Calgary, her and her
family fostered and adopted many animals, such as pigs, chickens, dogs and cats for
many years. Seeing the positive changes in animals’ personalities through patience and compassion was one of her inspirations to join the veterinary field, and today she has found herself at City Centre Veterinary Clinic where she has been given the amazing opportunity to work and learn from many fantastic people before she goes to Alberta to start her schooling in Veterinary Technology in the near future.

In her free time, Sarah loves to draw and paint realistic style portraits of people and
animals, write and play music on her guitar and piano and spend time outside in the sun going for runs or hikes.
